About Me

I am from a small town in eastern Kentucky~ Pikeville, KY but I currently reside in Lexington. I am an avid competitive and recreational kayak bass angler. A director of the Bluegrass Kayak Anglers and manager of their website: www.bluegrasskayakanglers.com as well as monthly events, tournaments and social media aspects of the club. I am always trying to grow the sport of competitive kayak bass fishing, exposing my affiliated sponsors to as many people in our growing sport as possible and representing brands and products that I believe in and trust in my everyday fishing experiences. in 2016 I spent over 100 days on the water and 2017 is on pace for even more! I often interact with the many people I run across on the water and I enjoy talking with them about what it is that I do and the products and companies I represent. I will often attend trade/boat shows during the fishing “off season”, where I can get more time with people interested in not just kayak fishing but fishing in general. I truly enjoy teaching people as much as I can about this sport as I continue to grow and learn more myself.  Please take some time to review some of my media outlets like my YouTube channel and Instagram/Facebook accounts.

Aside from fishing, I love the outdoors whether it is hunting, camping, hiking or rock hunting as I am a geologist as well. I am blessed to be born and raised in Kentucky which has an abundance of all of my favorite outdoor activities. In my opinion there is no greater place to live!

My day job to pay the bills consists of being the Branch Manager of Unmined Coal for the Kentucky Department of Revenue, which oversees the assessment on unmined coal reserves for the state of Kentucky.
