Well the season for the Bluegrass Kayak Bass Fishing club started out rough for me, and I knew the last 5 events of the season I couldn't afford to slip up once. Our AOY uses the best 5 finishes and in the last 5 events I went 3rd, 1st, 2nd, 1st and 6th to grab my 3rd total Angler of the Year title. It was a challenging year with our TD moving out of state and everything essentially running virtually. So no check pics, trophies or socializing. But you can bet the competition was tight and fierce. The anglers in our club are no joke, I had to chase down Nick McGuire, Paul Averill and Adam Shepard all season long. Looking forward to defending the title next year against some of the best.Big thanks to my sponsors and all the words of encouragement from my friends and followers! Especially Casey Wallen who I assure you sacrificed the most! We do have one event left where the top 10 in AOY and any angler who won an event will fish in a $1,000 take all "championship".Hobie Fishing| Cal Coast Fishing| JB'S Fish Sauce Fish Attractant| NRS Fishing| Shimano North America Fishing| G. Loomis| Boonedox| Bioenno Power| SPRO U.S.A| Sunline| AFTCO| Hobie Eyewear| Yak-PowerHere is how it played out points wise. Congratulations to all those making the Championship event! Congratulations to Jay Wallen Fishing for winning the 2021 Bluegrass Kayak Bass Fishing Angler of the Year!! ... See MoreSee Less

I got this powerhouse battery from Bioenno Power to run my Newport Vessels NK-180-S motor. 24 volts, 50 amps supplying 1200 watts of power. Enough to go 50+ miles at an average speed of 4.8-5.0mph. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this setup to anyone looking for an economical, powerful way to motor your kayak. You can go as big or as small of a battery as you like. Use: JAYWALLENFISHING to save 15% off your battery from Bioenno Power! #bioennopower #kayakfishing #kayak #bassfishing #kayakbassnation #Power #newportvessels ... See MoreSee Less
